Work
Real work, not stock logos.
I'd rather show you real sites I've actually built than a wall of brands I once sat near. This is where Lumen started, and more land here as I earn them.
01Miller StudioCase 01 · Interior design
Miller Studio
A custom one-page site for interior designer Heather Miller. She makes San Diego rooms that belong in a magazine, but her web presence showed none of it. So I built a site that puts the rooms first, reads in under a minute, and stays out of the way of the work.
Beautiful work, invisible online. Nothing that let a prospective client feel the rooms before the first call.
A custom one-page site, rooms first and words second. Fast, clean on mobile, and simple enough for Heather to keep current herself.
A presence that finally matches the work, and the first case study in the Lumen portfolio.
02Integrated MindsCase 02 · Clinical psychology
Integrated Minds Partnership
Dr. Catherine Murray was opening a combined psychology and psychiatry practice in San Diego on a tight timeline, with nothing online. I designed and built her a full multi-page site — Team, Services, Research, Fees and Contact — in her brand, delivered on schedule.
A brand-new practice on a tight launch timeline with no web presence — nowhere for referrals or clients to find it or trust it.
A polished, multi-page site — Team, Services, Research, Fees and Contact — built in her brand, delivered on time, with a check-in at every step.
A professional home online that reflects the practice, and a launch that stayed on schedule.
Jake from Lumen Studio helped me build a fantastic, professional website for my psychology private practice. He helped me work on a tight timeline and checked in with me every step of the way to help my vision come to life. I appreciate all his help in growing my business.
03SDHealthFitCase 03 · Personal training
SDHealthFit
A private, by-appointment personal-training studio in Sorrento Valley with a strong room and a full roster of trainers — and nothing online to show either. I built them a training-first, multi-page site with trainer bios, a facility tour, a become-a-trainer path and a working booking flow.
A real studio with a full roster of trainers, but nothing online to show either — or to turn interest into a booked first session.
A training-first, multi-page site — trainer bios, a facility tour, a become-a-trainer path and a working contact form — built to funnel visitors to a free consult.
The trainers and the room front and center, with a clear path for a newcomer to book a first session.
